A Clearwater man who police say had admitted to having lewd “impulses,” and had already been on probation for exposure of sexual organs, has been arrested again on the same charges following a months-long investigation.
Jonte Dajon Lynn, 24, of Clearwater, is alleged to have been caught in the act of masturbation in his car in an incident that ocurred Feb. 24, 2024. He was arrested and charged in the incident this week.
According to the Pinellas County Sheriff’s Office, in the latest incident, an adult female was walking to her vehicle in the parking lot of Ulta, located at 3142 Tampa Road in Oldsmar, when she observed a male in the driver’s seat of a gold Chevy Equinox.
“The male was actively masturbating and made direct eye contact with the victim,” a statement from the office said.
Detectives say the suspect was described as a bi-racial male, wearing a trench coat with a hood covering his head. The victim told dispatchers the male was not wearing any other clothing under the trench coat. The victim immediately called 911, however the suspect fled the scene prior to deputies arriving.
Detectives learned that the victim observed the same vehicle in the parking lot two days later, and the same male was seated in the driver’s seat. Through “various investigative techniques,” the statement said, detectives identified the suspect as Lynn. Detectives say Lynn was previously convicted of two counts of exposure of sexual organs in 2022 and 2023 and placed on probation. In those cases, the victims provided similar accounts of those incidents, stating Lynn was seated in his gold Chevy Equinox, actively masturbating.

On Wednesday, detectives arrested Lynn and charged him with one count of exposure of sexual organs and one count of violation of probation.
“When detectives interviewed Lynn, he was cooperative and acknowledged that he has impulses, which he cannot control,” the statement said.
